Our next meeting is August 18th, at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Unfortunately, we will not be hosting Ann Benson as originally planned, but we plan to re-schedule for the spring. We look forward to seeing her then.
Jan Bernier will be teaching our next project, a Tubular Herringbone necklace. This can be done in either larger or smaller bead sizes, depending on your preference and skill level.
Herringbone Supply List
1 6" tube size 8 beads
1 6" tube triangles size 5 - 200 beads
2 colors size 11 beads, one color goes with the 8s and one color goes with the triangles
Clasp
For a thicker, easier to workup necklace perfect for beginning beaders:
Triangles (see above)
1 large tube size 6 beads
Small amount of 11s and clasp to finish it off.
Also bring mat, needles and supplemental light/extension cord if needed.

September Meeting Date Change. The September meeting will take place on the FOURTH Thursday instead of the usual third Thursday. So we will be meeting September 22nd, instead of the fifteenth.

We are bidding a sad farewell to the Bead Emporium in Hyannis. They close in two weeks. We wish Jorene and all the staff best of luck in their future endeavors. If you have an old Bead Emporium gift certificate, don't forget to use it.
