Hi folks,

Thank you so much for the great turnout on Thursday! We saw some faces we haven't seen in awhile, added one new member and got to play with our beautiful rivolis with the instruction of Jan Falcone and her helpers.

Thanks again everyone!

Feeling tense? Check out the Beadwork Master Class article in the Aug/Sept issue of "Beadwork" magazine. Author Nancy Cain says some interesting things about how to control and use thread tension and how to "let the beads do the work".

Thank you everyone who attended our last meeting!

The wire bead crochet taught by Brenda turned out to be a highly rewarding project. Even those of us "crochet impaired" folks were well on our way before the end of the meeting.

Thanks again Brenda and everyone who assisted in the class.

Our next project is the Beaded Rivoli

Rivolis are beautiful crystal shapes without holes (look at the attached pictures). This project will allow your rivoli to be used as a pendant while still allowing the light to shine through.
