Bead Society of Cape Cod - RAW Necklace, February 20th

We will be doing a RAW ( right angle weave) necklace approximately 16-17" but is easily adjustable. It is not too difficult but you might want to check out a video for basic RAW if you've been away from it for a while.

The picture will show it in 11os with top-drilled pearls and 8o accent bead. It is equally handsome using 8os for the basic chain sections, the same size pearl, and a 3.4mm drop for the accent.

Supply list:
(Smaller version)
11o seed beads 4-5 grams ( 1/2 of a 2 1/2 " tube
Top drilled pearls. MIne measure about 1/2 " long. I used 27.
8o accent beads. approximately 27.
Fireline 6#
Size 12 needle if using pearls
Purchased clasp unless you want to do a beaded one.

(Larger version)
8o seed beads, 1 2 1/2 tube just to be sure)
Top drilled pearls as above.
3.4 mm drops, or 3-4mm round crystals. Something a little larger than the 8o
Fireline ^3 or 8# if you can fit it through your pearls
Needle to fit
Clasp

NOTES:
You could substitute top-drilled stone beads for the pearls, or any kind of drop or dagger, or leaf bead. Be creative! Just try to keep the size ratio similar.
