Thanks everyone...
Around twenty people attended our last meeting where Marge Primavera and her helpers taught the St. Petersburg Chain. This is a pretty stitch, but not the easiest to learn. Many people were well on their way to creating so beautiful things so don't forget to bring your completed projects to show off on the board.
Thanks again Marge!

Our next meeting will be the Ruffle bracelet taught by Deb Moore.
Materials
65 g size 8 round seed beads (metal or glass) -(Delica cylinders will NOT work)
About 300 2mm corner less cubes or
size 10 or 11 hex or
size 10 or 11 Triangles.
Fireline 10 lb beading thread
Clasps - Will be available to members at the meeting.
Needles, scissors, mat, light, etc.
Homework:
Yes, there is some homework. This is so you can make your band ahead of time and concentrate on the ruffle for the class. It won't take too long, these are eights and it will work up VERY quickly.
***
String an even number of the seed beads to fit your wrist, leaving an eight inch tail.
(72 of the seed beads will fit a 6 1/2 inch wrist. Adjust as necessary (keep the beads an even number). The completed band should ALMOST meet around your wrist.)
Work in Peyote stich until the band is four beads wide on each end (eight rows).
