The Bead Society meets at the Cape Cod Cultural Center in Yarmouth on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Bead Society Membership will be open to new members beginning January 2023. September meeting--Janna taught 24 enthusiastic members how to surround a cabochon. It is a great technique to know and we thank Janna for showing the members how to do this. Don't forget to bring in your finished work for all of us to see at the next meeting.
October is our Holiday project--Marge Primavera will teach the members how to make a three dimensional star. This looks like a very difficult project but trust me, it is not. The good news is that everyone that ATTENDS the meeting will be given a complimentary kit to make the star. You only have to bring your bead mat, scissors and if you have it, one 2 1/2" big eye needle. We are teaching the Holiday project in October to give you time to make these wonderful ornaments for your friends and family in time for the Holiday season. You must RSVP for this meeting since the amount of kits are limited.
