Next meeting, the Bead Society of Cape Cod welcomes lampwork glass artist Christine S. Cotton, on Thursday, July 21 at 7pm at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.
Lampworking is an ancient technique for melting and shaping glass. The earliest known examples can be dated to the 5th century BC. Christine S. Cotton will speak about the modern process of making her lampworked beads and her handmade beads will be available for purchase after her lecture. This event is free and open to the public.
