I hope the beginning of summer is finding you well. Our next project is Yo Yo bead earrings, these beads do not have a drill hole so turning these beads into jewelry requires a different technique than you've seen in previous meetings.
There are a limited number of Yo Yo beads supplied by the Bead Society for Members attending the meeting. If you have not already reserved your beads, you need to contact Ann Hochman
Supply List for Yo Yo Bead Earrings
* 2 YoYo beads (provided by Bead Society)
* 1 gr. size 15 seed beads - Base Color (A) Delicas NOT recommended for base.
AND
* Several colors and/or sizes of seed beads to coordinate/contrast with YoY and base color bead
Blue Earrings
1 gram. size 11 (accent color) - B
1 gram. size 11 (accent color) - C
OR
Green Earrings
1 gram. size 8 (Pink accent color)
1 gram size 11 (White accent color)
1 gram size 11 (Raspberry accent color)
Your size 15 seed beads from the base can also be used as the end of your fringe or for the picot.
* Pair of earring wires
* 2 small closed jump rings (optional)
* 4-lb Fireline
* Size 13 beading needle (No Big Eye needles please)
* Flat nose pliers to assist in pulling needle through beads
* Bead mat
* Task light and magnifier highly recommended

Bead and Chats are back!
West Dennis Library - Next one is June 29th, 4-9 pm.
The Bead and Chats are taking place the last Wednesday of every month at the West Dennis Library, at 4-9pm.
You can arrive at the Bead and Chat ANY TIME and leave ANY TIME. Stop by after work, bring supper if you like, it's all good.
Please note, the library is CLOSED during the Bead and Chat, so you will need to call Peggy White's cell phone number so she can let you in.
