The Bead Society meets at the Cape Cod Cultural Center in Yarmouth on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Bead Society Membership will be open to new members beginning January 2023. Hi folks,

We had over 25 people attending the April meeting for the Magatama Spiral Necklace, including a number of new faces.

Thanks for coming everyone and a big thank you to Shelley and her helpers for introducing us to this interesting bead!

May's Project is Be Diamond or Be Square Bracelet

Supply List

* Two coordinating colors of Size 8 ROUND beads. (Examples would be size 8 round metal beads OR Size 8 Toho 3-cut glass beads (lots of sparkle)).
* If using METAL beads, 14 lb Fireline OR if using GLASS beads, 6 or 8 lb Fireline.
* Needles,
* Mat in contrasting color.
* Scissors.
* Light/magnification (if necessary).

This project uses Right Angle Weave to make the bracelet units. If you're unfamiliar with Right Angle Weave, I strongly suggest looking at some tutorials.
