Bead Society of Cape Cod

The Bead Society meets at the Cape Cod Cultural Center in Yarmouth on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Bead Society Membership will be open to new members beginning January 2023. Welcome back everyone! Our January project is the CRAW rope necklace,

Supply List

10 grams Size 8 round seed beads or
10 grams Size 11 round seed beads
2 6mm Jump Rings
Clasp of Choice
Bead Mat
Ott Light
Extension Cord, Etc.

Makes an 18 inch necklace 19 with clasp.

Blue/Purple Pictured uses 8 and 11’s
Silver is all 11’s


It is strongly suggested that you bring at least two different color 8 round seed beads if not 4 different colors while learning the stitch. No silver lined or sparkly colors -- matte or opaque to get used to the stitch. Remember the first one or two rounds are the hardest but once you have the first cube done it goes a lot faster and falls into place.
